Corporate Powerpoint Template

Logos and Templates

Everything that Council produces impacts our brand and message and therefore the way people perceive us. Maintaining the integrity of our logo is very important as an organisation. The logo can be used on all documents that staff produce to identify them as Greater Dandenong produced.

There are a range of templated corporate assets such as contact panels and the important message graphic. You can find other corporate design items such as the email signature, office signage and fax and letterhead templates and instructions below.

Remember that all major external communications materials must be checked by Media and Communications. This included reports, bulk mail outs, newspaper advertisements, flyers, etc. Email news@cgd.vic.gov.au with or visit the office.

Council also has a Canva account where you can find a range of additional templates. For access to this, please contact Media and Communications.

Important message graphic

Council also has an important message insert for staff to use. This graphic explains to customers in the 10 main languages that your message is important and how they can get assistance in their own language.

These messages are now also on the back of the corporate letterhead, but you can insert this image into your documents in addition to the contact panel when you are not using letterhead and you need more detail than the contact panel provides.

See below for important message graphic and instructions of use.

Other signage

We know that many of you are keen to decorate your workspaces but please ensure you follow these standardised processes.

Please do not stick anything on the walls

We are keen to keep the office looking professional and neat and masses of random items on walls does not help to achieve this.

This is what the pin boards are for. You can also use the cabinets as they are magnetic. If you need something larger, talk to Building Maintenance about your options.

Putting items up at your desk

Every desk has a grey screen behind the computer - this is where you can stick any personal items and work notes. You can move this screen so it is it a position that suits you.

As mentioned above, please do not stick any items up on the walls, pillars or windows around your desk.

Name signs

Staff are welcome to put a name sign up at the end of the desk (ideally on the front and top of your grey bookcase). Please the below template (don't change the font or make italic or use a different colour).

The Printshop can laminate it for you so it lasts longer.

If you are a managers or directors and need you name plate changes please email the news details to news@cgd.vic.gov.au and they will update a reprint.

Posters in tea rooms and other public areas

These frames are for staff to promote their local event and important information.

You will notice that the A4 ones contain OHS and HR information - please do not remove any of these. The single A3 frame next to the fire extinguishers is also for safety information.

All the other A3 poster frames are for promotional information. If you would like to put something in one of these frames and there is a free space - go ahead! If there is no free space and nothing has expired please contact Media and Communications and they will help you work out what your item can go over.

If you please an item in the frame please ensure you remove it when it is expired.

Adding the CGD Background to your Microsoft Teams

To add the CGD corporate background to your Microsoft Teams follow the instructions below.

Instructions to install background

Please note: To use the CGD background as the default in Microsoft Teams, you’ll need to manually select it at the start of each meeting.

Additionally, Teams applies a default "Mirror my video" setting, which flips your video to resemble a mirror view. As a result, the CGD logo may appear reversed to you - but rest assured, other participants see it correctly. If you prefer to see your video unmirrored, you can disable this setting by turning off "Mirror my video" in Teams' device settings.
