The launch of council’s new PULSE eRecruitment and onboarding management platform, along with the new jobs website is Tuesday, 29 June 2021.
Pulse eRecruitment and onboarding management platform
The PULSE system automates and digitises many of the old paper-based and email heavy Recruitment and Onboarding processes and delivers a more efficient and streamlined process.
All EMT approval required for positions after Thursday 24 June will now be created and processed through the PULSE system.
OD have created several training videos and a step-by-step guide with resources to assist users in the transition. You can find these on the Recruitment Process page in The Source.
Accessing the system can be easily done through the source by selecting “I want to” and selecting the PULSE icon.
Members of the OD team are available to partner with you and guide you through the process step by step when it’s time to complete your first end to end recruitment.

New Jobs website
As part of the new eRecruitment process, the existing Jobs website has been redeveloped and now sits within our family of CGD websites.
The only change staff will experience is where you view jobs. We have brought internal jobs into The Source, as it provides the necessary security and access for staff only.
From Tuesday 29 June, staff will be able to access a new page on The Source - Job Listings. This page will list the available internal jobs. External jobs will be advertised on the jobs website. There is a button on the Job Listings page that takes you straight to the external jobs listings or you can access the external site via the 'I want to' menu in The Source.
If you have feedback on the new site, please use our feedback form below or from the website (in the contact panels) - it too will open on Tuesday 29 June.
