Go live is finally here and we've launched five websites and a new version of CA.
- Greater Dandenong
- Youth
- Drum
- Webstar (The Source)
- Maccs
- Council Assist (CA)
Included in this is a new Org chart, new templates for both forms sites and the Library catalogue.
Redirections from the old URLS will be in place for the external sites so we’re hoping for minimal disruption to users.
While we have worked closely with the development team to try to mitigate known issues that can come up during a transition like this, the reality is no launch is perfect.
Below is a list of issues and fixes we already know about. We will continue to add to this so staff are in the loop.
What to do if your issue isn't listed
Have a read of the How to pages for the sites - your found problem might just be a different way of doing things.
Still not resolved
1. Take a screen shot of the problem - you can do this using the Snipping tool.
2. Send the screen shot and a description of the problem - detail is great, to website@cgd.vic.gov.au.
The web team is gearing up for a big week so we'll be working through these teething issues as quickly as we can but do ask for a little extra understanding at this time.
Known Issues
- OrgChart is available to Staff. Please note staff phone numbers and position descriptions are yet to be added. This content will be added in the next few weeks.
- Some image galleries are not loading correctly.
- Site alerts are not closing for some staff - we're working on fixing this.
- Events are appearing multiple times.
