Enterprise Resource Planning Transformation Update - Where We Are and What’s Next

Atrium

Our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Case is progressing steadily. We are now in the market scan phase, assessing whether there is a suitable ERP solution to meet our needs.

Implementing a complete ERP solution is a significant undertaking that requires careful planning, coordination and sustained effort over time. We understand the importance of adopting smart, agile technology solutions that enable our staff to continue delivering complex and valued services, both now and into the future.

Your feedback from the first phase of the business case has been invaluable, and we are committed to ensuring it shapes our next steps. We know that integration, futureproofing and fit-for-purpose technology are critical. We also recognise the impact on staff satisfaction, financial sustainability and productivity of both implementing and not implementing the right solution.

The final business case will be presented to:

  • Executive Team – Wednesday 10 September
  • Audit and Risk Committee – Friday 12 September
  • Council - TBA

The Digital Technology Department thanks everyone who has contributed so far and encourages ongoing conversations about improving our digital landscape. You can reach us at erp@cgd.vic.gov.au.

This transformation is more than a technology upgrade. It’s about building smarter, more connected systems that support the way we work and serve our community. Your engagement is driving meaningful change.
