The Webster Street Level Crossing Removal Project team are hosting an information session and providing free coffee at The Nong café (corner Thomas and Foster Streets) on Wednesday 8 October between 9.30am-11am.
Staff are encouraged to attend to find out more about the project, including potential impacts to how they travel around Dandenong during and after the works, or just to say hi to the project team.
The project is reaching major milestones with:
- Webster Street to be closed at the level crossing from 9pm, Friday 10 October
- A new walking and cycling path along the creek under the rail bridge to be open from 7am, Friday 10 October
Construction of a new alignment for Cheltenham Road connecting it directly to Lonsdale Street will continue throughout 2026.
