Springvale Snow Fest 2025

On Sunday 27 July, the Springvale Snow Fest 2025 transformed the city into a pop-up winter wonderland, attracting more than 20,000 attendees despite rainy weather.

Delivered by the Festivals and Events team, the event offered a wide range of entertainment including free stage and roving performances, snow play, community-run activities and paid amusement rides for children and families.

  • The Amplify Youth Committee contributed significantly, with 28 volunteers curating three hours of stage programming featuring 20+ local youth performers, offering free airbrush tattoos and conducting community surveys. Media Makers from Youth and Family Services also captured interviews and footage throughout the day.

  • Seven cultural and community performances were featured.

Sponsors and Snow Attractions

  • Major sponsor Optus brought the snow, hosting two snow play zones and a new snowman factory. Their activation also included a free photobooth with falling snow, face painting and giant soccer darts.
  • Additional sponsors included Bendigo Bank, Century 21 and Hyatt Place, which provided a raffle prize for an overnight stay experience.
