Today’s Top Tip - Connection

Wellbeing is the foundation of everything, yet sometimes we forget all the little things we can do to look after ourselves better.

And in a workplace of great people, often under the pump sometimes we forget to focus on our wellbeing.

Something really small you can do every day to add a pop of joy to your day is to make small connections or micro-moments.

A micro-moment could be as simple as a quick chat to your barista or a colleague you have never met before. These small moments of connection can release a burst of oxytocin.

Even better – just doing something small for someone (opening a door or saying 'thank you') is a really small way to improve both your day and someone else’s.

And this burst of oxytocin is a great start to your day in the office.

To learn more about micro-moments, watch the video in this week's Dipping Sauce in The Source News.

Even more connection - take part in Coffee Roulette

And if a micro-moment of connection is a tool to enhance wellbeing, then how about forming a new relationship with someone new?

We know for some that sounds really scary, particularly those of us that are introverted, but we can assure you, it's a great way to build relationships at work.

Take a chance and register. You will be matched with a colleague to meet and have a coffee with. Register now for Coffee Roulette.
