Pats on the Back to the entire Youth Services team who worked hard to engage over 100 local young people aged 14 – 19 to complete the Mission Australia 2025 Youth Survey in July and August. This survey is the nation’s largest online annual ‘temperature check’ of teenagers, and tells us what concerns young people, where they turn to for support and how they see the world. Because we have reached this number of young people from our area, Mission Australia will produce a specifically tailored data report for the municipality.
Mission Australia’s Research and Insights Officer Raymond McHale had this excellent feedback for the Youth Services team:
“Well done on securing feedback from so many young people in your LGA. I think what you achieved in your local area was amazing and an exemplar of how to capture the voices of young people.”
Mission Australia will be showcasing our work as an example of best practice youth engagement via a case study that will be shared with Councils across the country. Well done to the whole team.
