Are you struggling to manage your email?
Email management is part of our day to day role which means either filing them appropriately in Objective if they are business related or deleting them if they are not related to doing business with Council.
Staff should take the time to manage their emails to make sure that information is available.
Council have invested in Technology to help you to manage emails as well as an alternate to using email such as:
- AEC - (Automatic Email Capture) A quick and easy way to file your emails into Objective via Outlook.
 - Objective Connect – Available to staff who are managing large emails with externals. Correspondence is managed in this Cloud service not affecting your emails at all.

Additionally we are also looking at Teams as an alternate to help manage projects.
Anyone with a Council email is bound by Council’s code of conduct which requires documents including emails to be stored in Objective.
Email is not a storage option and anything in your inbox is only available to you. If for some reason you are not available then neither is this information.
IT can also help you to determine where most of your email quota is:
This image shows that there is 57MB in calendar – these can be cleaned up releasing additional space.
