SMS Messaging service
Staff are reminded that if you wish to receive critical organisational based information that you are able to opt into the Staff SMS Contact service.
All staff with Council owned mobile devices will automatically be captured however we encourage all staff to opt into the service by completing the SMS contact form below.
Password Expiry Reminder
Staff are missing the pop-up alerting them to their password expiry. These pop-ups appear on the right-hand bottom corner of your screen however disappear very quickly. Blink and you can miss it!
IT are working on a script which will generate an email letting you know you have 7 days before your password expires. Please note that this 7 day alert will be the only email sent and is informational only. The email will never contain link for you to click on.

Teams Telephony Migration
All active Skype for Business users should now be migrated to Teams for all calls as well as meetings, chats etc. IT are now working on finalising this migration and then decommissioning our Skype infrastructure. If you require some additional help using teams documentation is available on the Online training and documentation page.

Returning IT Hardware to the Office
During 2020 several staff have taken IT equipment home (PCs, additional monitors, keyboards, mouse and headsets) With a transition back to the office this equipment will be needed in the office. It is important all staff are aware that equipment needs to be returned as we move to a hybrid of working in office and from home.
If you have taken IT hardware home (PCs, additional monitors, keyboards, mouse and headsets) you must bring this back into the office if you require it to do your job. IT supply equipment for use in the office and whilst equipment has been able to be taken home, we do not have spare IT hardware for you to have permanently at home.
Laptops will continue to be rolled out to staff when their PC is due to be replaced.
