A Decision on Oracle CRM and our Future Plans

CRM puzzle

After careful consideration and thorough evaluation, we have decided not to continue with the implementation of the Oracle CRM, the system that was intended to replace the Merit CRM. This decision was not made lightly.

During the evaluation process, it became clear that the project was not delivering against the initial project scope. After reviewing the potential benefits, costs and alignment with our current needs, we have concluded that it is in the best interest of the organisation to redirect our focus.

We understand that many of you have invested time and effort into exploring this application, and we appreciate your dedication and contributions. We are committed to supporting you through this transition and addressing any questions or concerns you may have. Please feel free to reach out to our Digital Technology department for further information or assistance.

In light of this decision, I am pleased to advise that we are commencing a project to evaluate our core systems (Finance, HR/Payroll, CRM, Property and Rating, etc.), and determine the Digital Transformation Road Map for the future. This project will help us identify the best path forward to enhance our digital capabilities and improve the customer experience and overall efficiency.

In the short term, we will be reviewing the Merit system with a view of implementing a number of upgrades and enhancements to make this system more efficient. These are aimed at optimising our current processes and ensuring that we continue to meet our operational needs.

To remove any confusion regarding the Oracle CRM project and the after-hours services provided by OracleCMS, please note that these are two different systems and therefore there is no impact on our after-hours service.
