Cyber Awareness Month is here. Stay sharp, stay safe, and join us this October to outsmart evolving cyber threats.
Information Security policy training
We will kick-off the month with a quick two-minute Pulse Learning course that introduces our Information security policy. It’s short, sharp, and essential. By acknowledging the policy, you commit to safe cyber practices. The Pulse Learning module will be included as an introductory module and will be sent to you on Wednesday 1 October 2025. The Information Security Policy Training will be the first module in The Inside Man - Series 1 training package.
The Inside Man – Series 1
Also launching on October 1, all staff (including all new starters from that day onward) will receive access to The Inside Man, a 12-episode security awareness series. Each episode takes just 5–10 minutes to complete and covers topics like:
- Social engineering
- Phishing attacks
- Insider threats
- Password hygiene
- Mobile device security
- Data protection
- Physical security
- Remote work risks
- Shadow IT
- Ransomware
- Multi-factor authentication
- Reporting suspicious activity
It’s mandatory to watch the entire series by 31 October. We recommend setting aside time to watch it all—it’s engaging and very informative.
Weekly cyber pulse modules – every Monday
Each Monday in The Source Weekly News, you’ll find a short Pulse module that shows how cyber incidents happen—from the hacker’s perspective. You’ll see how they think, how they act, and how attacks unfold in real time.
Cyber trivia tournament – who will be crowned cyber month champion?
Test your knowledge with our weekly trivia challenge—10 cyber-related questions each week. Winners will receive a mystery prize, revealed during the month.
Let’s make October count. Stay sharp, stay safe, and let’s build a cyber-aware culture together.
