Starting Monday 6 October, cladding replacement works will be carried out near the Garner Lane exit stairs at the Dandenong Civic Centre to replace the discoloured material.
We expect these works will be complete by late November.
Vehicle access to Garner Lane will remain open during the works, however there will be changes to pedestrian access to exit stairs:
- Garner Lane exit stairs will be unavailable between 7am and 4pm.
- Access to the Garner Lane exit stairs will be available outside of these hours.
Council’s Building Facilities Officer and Emergency Wardens will monitor conditions ensuring all necessary controls are in place.
