Consultations on our proposed One Greater Dandenong structure closed last Friday. We have been delighted to receive dozens of pieces of feedback.
We’ve been keeping an eye on the feedback as it comes in. I can already observe that it has been thoughtful, constructive feedback. I appreciate the care people have taken and the professional maturity of the comments.
We’ve heard positive feedback in support of some proposals, and also some suggestions for improvements. Unsurprisingly, you don’t all have the same views. Some people think something is a great idea, and others don’t.
We’re considering the themes and details of this feedback over the next couple of weeks. Some items might be easy to respond to, and others might require more lengthy consideration.
Our One Greater Dandenong page on The Source says we’re aiming to get back to you all in the last week of August. That’s still the goal, but we will review your feedback carefully. If we need longer, we’ll let you know.
