The intent of this policy is to protect the City of Greater Dandenong, as well as Council employees and provide guidance around the appropriate use of social media platforms and tools for the purpose of conducting Council business. It also provides clear principles for acceptable general use of social media platforms and tools by Council staff and contractors at work, including the parameters around which staff can access social media for general business, and/or for personal use at work.
