A risk assessment identifies risks of child abuse and harm in both physical and online environments connected with your services.
Risk Management plans list the actions you will take to prevent or reduce each identified risk of child abuse and harm.
This template asks you to identify and assess the situational, vulnerability, propensity and institutional risks to children that may be present in your activities and services. Download the Risk Assessment and Management Templates.
Risk assessments and management plans need to regularly be reviewed to keep them up to date.
Contact the Council’s Child Safety Compliance Officer for training and/or support in developing your child safe risk management plan.
All plans should be maintained in the Council’s Risk Register.
